In accordance to the Defence Space Administration mandate to provide Space asset to support the operations of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN), the Directorate of Earth Observation (DEO) in conjunction with the Directorate of Communication Satellite (DCS) presented a Secure Self-Hosted Map-Sharing Solution for the AFN. Mr Yahaya David Aluke, a Staff of DEO during his presentation acquainted the Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), Air vice Marshal AA Shinkafi and the Directors of DSA with the Overview of the Map-Sharing Solution.
In his remarks, the CDSA AVM AA Shinkafi applauded the efforts of the two Directorates for the great initiatives, adding that the initiative would go a long way in aiding military operations.
