The Directorate of Administration (DOA) is one of the directorates in DSA that is saddled with the responsibility of providing support services to the Administration.
Roles
a. Responsiveness to directives from the CDSA vide routine correspondence.
b. DSA Maintenance Request forms to DSA Directorates.
c. Traffic Accident Forms (NA Form FMT 3 and 3A)to DSA Directorates.
d. Issuance of appointment letters to newly employed civilian staff.
e. Opening, maintaining and securing the personal files of military personnel
f. Ensure prompt payment of RCA to DSApersonnel that perform 24 hours'guard duty within the Complex and on escort duties.
g. Ensure timely request for payment of monthly salaries of DSA Civilian staff and Non-regular allowances of the military personnel.
h. Maintenance of DSA Complex.
i. Regular awareness lectures on fire fighting, prevention and safety to military personnel and civilian staff of the Administration.
j. In charge of the administration and welfare of DSA military personnel and civilian staff..
k. Production of Identification Tags and Cards for all military personnel and civilian staff.
l. Maintenance of DSA facilities and Complex.
m. Maintenance of DSA staff cars and other pool vehicles.
n. Servicing and repairs of DSA equipment, and carrying out of minor construction work.
o. Lias with AEDC for regular power supplyt o DSA Complex.
p. Payment of monthly electricity bills.
r. Maintenance of DSA Clinic.
Achievements
a. Established the Civilian Affairs Office in DSA.
b. Ensure prompt payment of NHIS Capitation Fund to DSA by DHML.
c. Production of DSA Civilian TACOS which is at its final stage of printing.
d. Drafting and review of MOUs.
e. Production of the DSA Civilian Staff Personal Evaluation Report.
f. Coordination of a lecture on Project Management.
g. Conduct of enlightenment lectures on Fire Control, Prevention and Safety as well as lectures on Prevention, Management and Treatment of Hypertension and Sensitization lecture on NHIS by the DHMO.
h. Vaccination of DSA military personnel and civilian staff against Yellow Fever and Hepatitis B.
