DEFENCE SPACE ADMINISTRATION DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED PERSONNEL

The Defence Space Administration (DSA) on 21 November 2025 held a series of decoration ceremonies to honour its newly promoted Non-Commissioned Officers and airmen. The events took place at the Directorate of Cybersecurity Hall and the Office of the Director of Administration, bringing together senior officers, colleagues, well wishers, and families to celebrate the achievements of the personnel.

At the Directorate of Cybersecurity, eleven newly promoted Army Non-Commissioned Officers were decorated in a formal ceremony attended by senior officers and guests. Representing the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Rear Admiral OA Adeleke commended the personnel for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to service. He noted that their promotions were a testament to hard work and encouraged them to remain steadfast, uphold the highest standards of military conduct, and continue to ensure the well-being of their families.

Similarly, at the Director of Administration’s Office, the Director of Administration, Brig Gen OSA Fashina, presided over the decoration of two newly promoted Nigerian Air Force personnel ACM Abubakar AS and Lance Corporal Anngu Gideon Igbalagh. Brig Gen Fashina congratulated the airmen on their career progression and emphasized professionalism, loyalty, and continuous self-development as essential qualities as they take on higher responsibilities.

Both ceremonies ended with goodwill messages, group photographs, and a vote of thanks delivered by Warrant Officer Labu Salisu, marking a memorable day of celebration across the Defence Space Administration.
