The DSA, NASRDA, and NIGCOMSAT held a high-level tripartite meeting at NASRDA Headquarters on 30 Sep 25 to chart a more unified path for Nigeria’s space programme. The session focused on fostering synergy, harmonising strategic objectives, and adopting an integrated approach to space science and technology in support of socio-economic development and national security. “Our collective strength lies in collaboration,” the meeting noted, emphasising the need to align frameworks, share expertise, and optimise resources for maximum national impact.

Reaffirming commitment to the National Space Policy and Programme, the agencies pledged deeper cooperation in satellite development and the delivery of space-enabled solutions across communication, defence, agriculture, environment, and disaster management. The engagement is expected to serve as a turning point in positioning Nigeria’s Space Ecosystem for sustainable development and global relevance.
