National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA and Nigerian Communication Satellite (NigComSat) Ltd co-hosted a prestigious gala dinner to mark the completion of the activities lined out for the celebration of Nigeria’s 25 Years in Space. The event which attracted high-profile guests took place on Friday 29 November 2024 at Obasanjo Space Centre, Abuja.
In his remarks the Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), Air Vice Marshal Lanre Ibrahim Oluwatoyin commended the efforts of his counterparts, Director General NASRDA, Dr Matthew Olumide Adepoju and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer NigComSat, Mrs Nkechi Jane Egerton Idehen for their great contribution in the space so far and in the Nigerian Military operations.
The evening featured a Red Carpet Cocktail, Dancing competition among the DSA, NASRDA and NigComSat Staff, entertainment, amongst others.
