The Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), AVM LI Oluwatoyin, ably represented by the Director of Administration (DOA), Maj Gen EA Anaryu on November 14 decorated 9 soldiers serving in the unit who benefited from the NA 2024 promotion of soldiers and were promoted to various higher ranks ranging from private to corporal, corporal to sergeant, sergeant to staff sergeant, and staff sergeant to warrant officer, respectively.
The DOA, during his remarks, congratulated the newly promoted soldiers after decorating them with their new ranks and commended the Nigerian Army for finding the soldiers worthy to be elevated. Maj Gen EA Anaryu further urged the newly decorated soldiers to maintain a high standard of discipline as they grow in the job. He further asserted that they should double their efforts and live up to their new ranks as to whom much is given and is expected.
The decoration ceremony was graced by some senior officers, soldiers, civilian staff of the administration, and family members of the promoted soldiers.
Highlights of the event were words of advice from senior colleagues, a vote of thanks by Warrant Officer Mohammed Alfa, and a group photograph to close the event.
