The 5th Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), Air vice marshal AO Jolasinmi hands over the mantle of leadership to Air Vice Marshal AA Shinkafi on the 3rd July, 2023 at the Irabor Hall of the Defence Space Administration (DSA).
The event kicked off with an address by the outgoing CDSA; he reposed confidence in the capabilities of his successor and expressed utmost believe in the progress towards achieving the mandate of DSA. He further urged the staff of DSA to extend unwavering support to the incoming CDSA, AVM AA Shinkafi.
The program dovetailed into the signing of handing over notes and handing over of the CDSA flag which symbolizes “the handing over of Command” to the new CDSA.
The new Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal AA Shinkafi in his maiden speech expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and acknowledge the achievements of the outgoing CDSA.
