The Defence Space Administration (DSA) recently held a decoration ceremony in honour of three of its officers, Flying Officer M Ebode, Flying Officer OB Ayeni, and Captain FB Bamisaye who were elevated to the ranks of Flight Lieutenant and Major, respectively.
The ceremony, which took place at the DSA Headquarters, was presided over by the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal LI Oluwatoyin, and witnessed by senior officers, staff, family members, and well-wishers.








In his remarks, the Deputy Chief of Defence Space Administration, Rear Admiral K Mohammed, congratulated the newly promoted officers, urging them to let their integrity and character reflect positively on them, even in their absence.
Also addressing the gathering, Squadron Leader GF Ayeyemi commended the officers for their professionalism and dedication. He encouraged them to remain committed to personal growth and to uphold the core values of the Armed Forces professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.

In his closing address, AVM Oluwatoyin praised the officers’ dedication and service, highlighting the importance of leadership by example and the need to build strong, meaningful professional relationships.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly decorated officers, Major FB Bamisaye expressed deep gratitude to God, the leadership of the DSA, and everyone present. She pledged continued loyalty and commitment to the service of the nation.
The event featured the formal decoration of ranks, heartfelt congratulatory messages, and a group photograph to commemorate the milestone.
