Directorate of Communication Satellite hosted the July edition of the Defence Space Administration’s Monthly Lecture Series with the topic ” Spectrum Management for the Armed Forces of Nigeria: The Role of Defence Space Administration”.
The seminar commenced with an opening remark by the Director, Communication Satellite (DCS); Major General ES Mustapha. In his opening remarks, the DCS expressed his sincere appreciation to the Chief of Defence Space Administration for such a privilege to host the Lecture and went on to say that it will further educate all the participants on the benefits of spectrum Management and highlight the role of DSA.
Afterwards, Engr Olaoluwa Christian Oroge from the host Directorate presented a detailed paper on “Spectrum Management for the Armed Forces of Nigeria: The Role of Defence Space Administration”. The presentation was aimed at highlighting the role of DSA in ensuring efficient Spectrum Management for the Armed Forces of Nigeria with a view to making recommendations.
The Lecture dovetailed into an interactive session which further enlightened participants on the Topic. Thereafter, questions and comments were entertained from both onsite and online participants.
The Lecture came to an end with a closing remark by the Representative of the Chief of Defence Space Administration, AVM AV Ndace, who commended the DCS and the entire Directorate for a seamless paper delivery. He also went on to encourage the staff of the Defence Space Administration to continuously build their capacity by attending the DSA Monthly Lecture.
