To support the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security Agencies with relevant Space Products and Solutions necessary for the Conduct of operations in peace and wartime inline with the National Space Policy and Programme.

To create Space Competence capable of Producing and utilizing Space Assets to meet the Operational requirements of the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other Security Agencies.

The Defence Space Administration has made significant contributions to National security through its Geospatial Intelligence Fusion and Data Center. One of its key achievement has been the Production of over 640 topographic maps. These maps have been instrumental in supporting various security operations across Nigeria, aiding the identification of illegal refining sites, enhancing monitoring of military zones, and improving border security. The Nigerian Airforce and other security agencies have utilized these maps in their efforts to combat insurgency, banditry, and other criminal activities.
