In alignment with its core mandate, the Defence Space Administration (DSA) has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity of personnel across its Operational Directorates.
Approved by the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal L.I. Oluwatoyin, the six-week programme titled Strategic Space Systems Immersion Training Workshop officially commenced on 19th May 2025. The inaugural session outlined the programme’s objectives, scope, and expected outcomes, setting the stage for a comprehensive learning experience.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Deputy Chief of Defence Space Administration, Rear Admiral K. Mohammed, encouraged participants to fully engage with the training. He emphasized the importance of applying the acquired knowledge to strengthen operational effectiveness and support the DSA’s overarching mission, particularly in safeguarding Nigeria’s strategic interests in space.


The event concluded with a group photograph and the formation of working groups, ensuring structured collaboration throughout the duration of the workshop.
