DSA Calls for Stronger Cybersecurity Collaborations Among Stakeholders

The Defence Space Administration (DSA) on 23rd September 2025 convened a high level cybersecurity meeting at the CDSA’s Conference Room, bringing together key stakeholders from across Nigeria’s Defence and security sector.

In his opening remarks, the Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), Air Vice Marshal LI Oluwatoyin, commended participants for their commitment to national security and emphasized the strategic importance of the forum. He noted that the meeting was organized to foster synergy and strengthen collective cybersecurity efforts across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

Highlighting the growing significance of cybersecurity to National Defence, AVM Oluwatoyin underscored the urgent need for enhanced cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders to safeguard Nigeria’s critical infrastructure and digital assets.

The meeting featured participation from heads of information technology and cybersecurity departments across the Defence and security sector, Directors of DSA, senior officers, and other distinguished guests. Discussions centered on key cybersecurity challenges and explored practical areas for inter-agency collaboration.

The event reinforced the DSA’s commitment to driving integrated cybersecurity initiatives in support of National Defence objectives.
