DEFENCE SPACE ADMINISTRATION DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR OFFICERS.

The Defence Space Administration (DSA) recently held an investiture ceremony in honour of two of its officers, Lieutenant Colonel AA Alkali and Lieutenant Col EA Ugo-Nwachukwu, who were elevated to the ranks of Colonel respectively.

The ceremony, which took place at the DSA Headquarters, was presided over by the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Major General PO Ilodibia , and witnessed by senior officers, staff, family members, and well-wishers.

In his remarks, the Director of Earth Observation, Air Commodore EO Iduh, congratulated the newly promoted senior officers, urging them to let their integrity and character reflect positively on them, even in their absence, he also emphasized that the expectations at this rank are high.

In his closing address, Maj Gen Ilodibia praised the officers’ dedication and service, noting that he had worked with both officers over the years and remained confident in their professionalism, discipline, and capacity. He further encouraged them to deepen their knowledge in their respective fields and stay informed about developments around them.

Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly decorated officers, Colonel AA Alkali expressed deep gratitude to God, and Commander- in – Chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria , President Bola. Ahmed Tinubu, and to the Chief of Army Staff for deeming them worthy of this milestone promotion. He also appreciated the CDSA and their family members for thier unwavering support and encouragement. He reaffirmed their commitment to diligently carrying out their duties and upholding the confidence entrusted to them.

The event featured the formal decoration of ranks, heartfelt congratulatory messages, and a group photograph to commemorate the milestone.
