DEFENCE INTELLIGENCE COLLEGE COURSE 21/2024 TRAINING PAYS ACADEMIC TOUR VISIT TO DSA

The Defence Space Administration on the 13th of March 2024 received the Commandant and Students of the Defence Intelligence College Course 21/2024 (DIC 21/24). This educative visit was hosted by the Directorate of Cyber Security (D-Cyber). The program commenced with an opening remark by the Director, Cyber security, Rear Admiral SA Yahaya who welcomed the Commandant DIC- Rear Admiral JA Nwagu and his Team.
The program progressed to a brief on the activities of D-Cyber delivered by Lt (NN) A Jibrin and dovetailed into a 3part lecture. The first lecture titled: Insider threat delivered by Miss Pamela Chinyere Onyedinma was followed by the second lecture titled: Common Cyber Attacks delivered by Mr Melvin Ode. The third and final lecture was delivered by Mrs Hassanat O. Abdulraheem on the topic, Open-Source Intelligence. Thereafter, the students were given opportunities to ask questions during the interactive session which was moderated by Squadron leader MA Muhammad with a group of discussants. The DCDSA, R/Admiral KJ Odubanjo in his closing remarks, commended the Resource Persons for the very educative and interactive lecture. He welcomed the Commandant DIC and his team to the Administration and further stressed the need to be very careful with the use of Internet Space.
In his response, the Commandant, DIC Rear Admiral JA Nwagu on behalf of his Team expressed gratitude for the warm reception by the Defence Space Administration adding that the lecture has added to their knowledge.
