COMMANDANT GENERAL OF NSCDC HOSTS CHIEF OF DEFENCE SPACE ADMINISTRATION

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, played host to the Chief of Defence Space Administration (CDSA), Air Vice Marshal L. I. Oluwatoyin, and his principal staff during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC National Headquarters, Abuja, on May 28, 2025.

Air Vice Marshal Oluwatoyin expressed his appreciation for the warm reception extended to him and his delegation. He lauded the NSCDC for its critical role in safeguarding national security, particularly in counter-terrorism efforts. The CDSA also provided an overview of the Defence Space Administration’s mandate, underscoring its contribution to strengthening Nigeria’s security infrastructure. He noted that the visit aimed to explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration between the two agencies.

In his remarks, Dr. Audi welcomed the visit as both timely and strategic, stressing the importance of inter-agency cooperation in addressing contemporary security challenges. He emphasized the need for increased synergy, especially in the area of geospatial intelligence, to effectively tackle emerging threats.

The visit concluded with the signing of the visitors’ register, exchange of commemorative souvenirs, and a group photograph to mark the occasion.
