The Defence Space Administration (DSA) recently received a delegation from the Nigeria/South-Africa Defence Committee on a courtesy visit.

In his remarks, the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal LI Oluwatoyin, expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral ties. He noted that enhanced collaboration between Nigeria and South Africa, particularly in the fields of defence and space technology, would contribute significantly to regional security and development.

As part of the engagement, Lieutenant Commander ZB Maigida delivered a comprehensive briefing on the activities of the DSA. Her presentation highlighted the Administration’s roles, objectives, vision, mission, and organizational structure, thereby providing the visitors with a clearer understanding of its mandate and operations.

The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenirs, symbolizing goodwill and reaffirming the commitment of both countries to fostering mutual cooperation in the years ahead.

Also in attendance were Directors of the Administration and other senior officers.
