In Celebration of Nigeria 25 years in Space, a novelty football match was played between the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Nigeria Communication Satellite (NigComSat) Limited and The Defence Space Administration (DSA) and also a Tug of War Competition; with the aim to celebrate the collaboration and achievement between the organizations. The anniversary games which was hosted by the DSA had in attendance the Chief of Defence Space Administration, AVM LI Oluwatoyin, The Director General of NASRDA, Dr. Matthew Olumide Adepoju and staff of all participating organizations.
The event started with a welcome address by the Chief of Defence Space Administration, AVM LI Oluwatoyin in his welcome address, welcomed all to the anniversary games and encouraged all to embrace the spirit of comradeship and support their various teams to win.
The Director General of NASRDA, Dr. Matthew Olumide Adepoju in his opening remarks also encouraged all to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and he declared a win win for all teams.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of medals to the winning teams, the DSA women tug of war and the DSA football team.
The event ended with a group photograph of the CDSA, DG NASRDA, directors and the various winning teams.
